Gene Image Map The Mycoplasma genitalium circular genome of 0.580 Mb was sequenced in 1995 by The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR). The key publication describing this sequenced genome is "The Minimal Gene Complement of Mycoplasma Genitalium" by C.M. Fraser, J.D. Gocayne, O. White and colleagues, Science 270: 397-403, 1995.
