Map Explanation

A comparison of the relative locations of orthologous rRNA, tRNA, and S10 coding sequences of two genomes was performed using the BLAST2 database comparison tool. Significance was determined using an E-value threshold of 0.001. The blue line indicates the 5' to 3' direction. The purple line is directed 3' to 5'. The C. pneumoniae genome is located above that of C. trachomatis. Genes are represented by small boxes that are positioned at the start coordinate. Lines connect the orthologs. Red indicates that each member of the orthologous pair is located on opposite strands. Green indicates that each member of the orthologous pair is located on the same strand.

Note: The tRNAs and rRNAs depicted is this map do not return the database entry upon selection.
