Comment:
The B chain of DNA gyrase is said to perform an ATP hydrolyzing function. Two A chains (UU082) and two B chains make up the complete gyrase molecule.

The four predicted gyrase genes in U.u. are: UU081 (gyrB), UU082 (gyrA), UU466 (gyrB), and UU467 (gyrA).
