Comment:
This protein is involved in the formation of phosphoenolpyruvate,
which is the primary accecptor of CO2 in C4 and some crassulacean
acid metabolism plants.

Reaction:
ATP + PYRUVATE + PHOSPHATE = AMP + PHOSPHOENOLPYRUVATE + DIPHOSPHATE.

There seems to be extra N-terminal sequence in this protein.
