Comment:
MurG is involved in cell wall formation, more specifically it is
the last step of peptidoglycan biosynthesis. It catalyzes the
transfer of a GlyNAc subunit on undecaprenyl-pyrophosphoryl-murnac-
pentapeptide (lipid intermediate I) to form undecaprenyl-pyrophosphoryl-
murnac-(pentapeptide) GlyNAc (lipid intermediate II).
