Gapped BLAST revealed several significant hits to phospho-N-acetylmuramoyl-
pentapeptide-transferases. For example residues 18-346 are 25% similar
to phospho-N-acetylmuramoyl-pentapeptide-transferase of Helicobacter
pylori,(AE000564). However it should be noted that only two proteins
in the database hit the whole protein. Most of the hits did not include
the N-terminal region of this protein.
