Weak Hits in gapped BLAST to oxidase sequences, e.g. residues 170-267 are 36% similar to what appears to be a glycolate oxidase from C.elegans (AF016448).
Residues 170-269 are 40% similar to a predicted coding region from A.orientalis (AJ223998) All hits above threshold were over the C-terminal
residues of TP0291. First iteration of Psi-BLAST brought into ascendance a lactate dehydrogenase
sequenvce from A.flugidus (AE001049) plus other glycolate oxidase sequences.
