Comment:
This sequence displays an N-terminal 25-amino-acid leader peptide terminated by a signal peptidase I cleavage site.
Seven tandemly spaced leucine-rich repeats (LRR) are present. This antigen appears
to be associated with the peptidoglycan-cytoplasmic membrane complex. The measured pI
was 9.6(see Shevchenko et al., J. Bacteriol. 179 (10), 3188-3195 (1997)).

Gapped BLAST revealed that this protein is almost identical to
previously sequenced leucine-rich repeat protein TpLRR of Treponema pallidum, U73748.
In addition gapped BLAST revealed the middle region had multiple
significant hits to surface antigen BspA of Bacteroides forsythus,
(AF054892).
