Gapped BLAST revealed, in addition to many other aspartate transaminases,
that this protein is identical to putative aspartate aminotransferase of
Treponema pallidum, (U73748). In addition residues 40-261 are 27%
similar to AATA_RHIME, aspartate transaminase of Rhizobium meliloti,
(L05064).
