Comment:
TP0080 is to BB0555 as TP0081 is to BB0556, with both Treponema orfs
showing weak similarity to xanthine dehydrogenase sequences. See also
TP0079.

Gapped BLAST revealed significant hits to quinoline 2-oxidoreductase
and 4-hydroxybenzoyl-CoA reductase proteins. For example residues
4-148 are 30% similar to 4-hydroxybenzoyl-CoA reductase of Bacillus
subtilis,(Z99120). Residues 1-145 are 30% similar to quinoline
2-oxidoreductase of Pseudomonas putida,(X98131). One iteration of
PSI-BLAST revealed several significant hits to xanthine dehydrogenase.
For example residues 3-146 are 26% similar to xanthine dehydrogenase
of Mus musculus,(X62932).
