Comment:
From GenBANK (gi:129288): This protein catalyzes the reaction: ATP + deamido-NAD(+) + NH(3) + H2O = AMP + pyrophosphate + NAD(+), involved in the pathway for the de novo biosynthesis of NAD. It is induced by heat shock, salt stress, oxidative stress, glucose limitation and oxygen limitation.
