Comment:
MG262 has been repeatedly annotated as DNA polymerase I. While MG262 is clearly homologous to the N-terminal part of polI, MG262 lacks the polymerase domain (Klenow fragment). The N-terminal domain of DNA polymerase I is responsible for its 5`-3` exonuclease activity, and this activity should be the functional prediction for MG262.
