Hits in gapped BLAST to hypothetical proteins in bacteria, e.g.
residues 1-207 are 67% similar to Y214_MYCPN. Residues 20-185
are 33% similar to YPUH_BACSU. Residues 55-185 are 32% similar to a hypothetical protein of M. tuberculosis (Z98268).

MG214 is orthologously related to MP0535: residues 1-207 of MG214 are 73% similar to residues 1-208 of MP0535, a predicted hypothetical protein from M. pneumoniae. MG214 is also similar to UU346 and TP0458, predicted hypothetical proteins from U. urealyticum and T. pallidum, respectively.
