Blast Summary:  PSI-Blast Search
Hits in gapped BLAST to numerous Thymidine Phosphorylase sequences, e.g. residues 1-421 are 67% similar to TYPH_MYCPN. MG051 is also similar to thymidine phosphorylase from Mycoplasma pirum (sp|P47717), Bacillus subtilis (sp|P39142), and Bacillus stearothermophilus (sp|P77836). MG051 shows no significant similarities to T. pallidum or C. trachomatis sequences.
