Otherwise, many significant hits using gapped BLAST to phenylacrylic acid decarboxylase (PAD)/3-octaprenyl-4-hydroxybenzoate carboxy-lyase from Neisseria meningitidis (7227204), E. coli (2507150), Rickettsia prowazekii (7443258), among others. HD1360 is 61% similar to residues 1-178 from gb|AAF42274.1, phenylacrylic acid decarboxylase from Neisseria meningitidis.

HD1360 is similar to phenylacrylic acid decarboxylase (PAD)/3-octaprenyl-4-hydroxybenzoate carboxy-lyase from C. pneumoniae (CPn0264) and C. trachomatis (CT220). No similarities to U. urealyticum, T. pallidum, M. genitalium, or M. pneumoniae.
