Positions 8 to 601 are 72% (E value 0.0) similar to sp|P13187|DCOA_KLEPN (118353) oxaloacetate decarboxylase alpha chain between positions 3 and 596 in Klebsiella pneumoniae. Positions 8 to 598 are 48% (E value e-149) similar to sp|Q58628|PYCB_METJA (6685821) oxaloacetate decarboxylase alpha chain between positions 2 and 564 in Methanococcus jannaschii.

HD0783 is strongly similar to oxaloacetate decarboxylase alpha subunit from T. pallidum (TP0056). No similarities to C. trachomatis, C. pneumoniae, U. urealyticum, M. genitalium, or M. pneumoniae.
