Comment:
From GenBank (gi:1172534): This protein converts lysophosphatidic acid into phosphatidic acid by incorporating an acyl moiety into the 2 position. It is involved in the second stop of de novo phospholipid biosynthesis by the reaction: acyl-CoA + 1-acyl-sn-glycerol 3-phosphate = CoA + 1,2-diacyl-sn-glycerol 3-phosphate. It is inner-membrane-associated.

Check start codon. Residue 18, a methionine, may be a more accurate start position. Currently, this protein has a non-methionine start in this record. Most signicant hits did not match any of the first 17 amino acid residues.
