Comment:
This enzyme in E.coli is a tetramer of two alpha and two beta chains. For the
beta chain sequence, see CT821. The reaction adds CoA to succinate, with the beta subunit holding the attachment
sites for succinate.

Hits in gapped BLAST to succinyl CoA synthetase alpha chain sequences,
e.g. residues 4-284 are 54% similar to SUCA_DICDI. Residues 4-289 are
53% similar to SUCD_ECOLI. No similarities to T.pallidum or M.genitalium.
