Comment:
This enzyme appears to be responsible for transfer of fatty acyl groups on
lipoproteins. In HAEIN it is an integral membrane protein.

Several hits in gapped BLAST to apolipoprotein N-acyltransferase sequences, e.g.
residues 59-532 are 24% similar to LNT_HAEIN. Other hits tended to be over the C-terminal
residues of CT534. CT534 is similar to TP0252, a predicted apolipoprotein
N-acyltransferase in T.pallidum. No similarity to M.genitalium.

CT534 is orthologously related to CPn0653: residues 9-535 of CT534 are 51%
similar to residues 8-539 of CPn0653, a predicted apolipoprotein
N-acyltransferase from C. pneumoniae.
