Primary Evidence:
Hsia RC, Bavoil PM. 1996. Homologs of Escherichia coli recJ, gltX and of a putative 'early' gene of avian Chlamydia psittaci are located upstream of the 'late' omp2 locus of Chlamydia psittaci strain guinea pig inclusion conjunctivitis. 1996. Gene 176(1-2):163-9. Medline: 8918248.

Comment:
Although apparently not present in M.genitalium, this enzyme is generally required for recombination.

a predicted exonuclease. No similarity to M.genitalium.
