Comment:
This enzyme catalyzes the condensation of UDP-2,3-diacylglucosamine and 2,3-diacylglucosamine
1-phosphate to form lipid A disaccharide, a precursor to lipid A,
which is responsible for anchoring LPS to the outer cell membrane.
The origin of the N-terminal 230 residues is unclear. See CT243, CT533, and
CT531.
