Comment:
This enzyme, part of the shikimate pathway, converts 7-phospho-3-deoxy-arabino-heptulosonate to 3-dehydroquinate plus orthophosphate. In E.coli, it is thought to be monomeric.

This enzyme is part of the shikimate pathway, CT366-CT370.

The BLOCKS results are puzzling.

e.g., residues 11-349 are 30% similar to AROB_ECOLI. No similarities
to T.pallidum or M.genitalium.
