See CT281, CT278 and CT279: compact intergenic spacing suggests that CT278, CT279, and
CT281 may be a single transcriptional unit for nqr2-nqr5, with nqr1 possibly CT634 and nqr6 being CT740.

Numerous hits in gapped BLAST to hypothetical proteins, nitrogen
fixation proteins (rfn) and NADH-dehydrogenases, many of the sequences
also found similar to CT278 and CT279, e.g., residues 1-201
are 44% similar to Y168_HAEIN, 30% similar to the rfnE
sequence of Rhodobacter and similar to P1908 of P.gingivalis. No similarities to T.pallidum or M.genitalium.


CT280 is orthologously related to CPn0429 and
