Comment:
Although CT278 and CT279 are not paralogously related, they
display similarities to the same protein in Vibrio. There
is some reason to think they are members of the rfn family
of bacterial proteins and that this may be an NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit
3 sequence (nqr3). See CT278, CT279, CT280, and CT281:
compact intergenic spacing suggests that CT278, CT279, CT280, and
CT281 may be a single transcriptional unit for nqr2-nqr5, with nqr1 possibly CT634.
and nqr6 being CT740.

Blast Summary:  PSI-Blast Search
A few hits in gapped BLAST: residues 159-292 are 39% similar
to Y167_HAEIN, a hypothetical protein. Other significant matches
include the Vibrio NADH-quinone reductase found similar to
CT278. No evidence of paralogs in C.trachomatis. No similarities to T.pallidum
or M.genitalium. Similar to PG1910 of P.gingivalis.

CT279 is orthologously related to CPn0428:
residues 2-312 are 54% similar to residues
5-320 of CPn0428.
