proteins.

known to be cAMP or cGMP--dependent. Best hits in Psi-BLAST are to eukaryotic
sequences, e.g. residues 6-133 of CT235 are 25% similar
to KAP2_RAT. The same residues are seen to be 23% similar
to the DNR protein of Synechocystis. CT235 is similar to TP0262 of T.pallidum, a predicted catabolite gene activator:
residues 36-132 are 30% similar to this protein. No similarity to
