Comment:
The A subunit of this enzyme is mainly involved in DNA breakage and rejoining; a
phosphotyrosine bond is transiently formed between this subunit and DNA during the
cleavage. Two A chains and two B chains make up the gyrase: CT190 is the B
subunit protein.
